CHI-TSAU brings SZEMA CAU, the West Wing imperial guards and SHEUNG-LUK to the temple inside the palace so that they could fight against CHI-SING. The East Wing imperial guards suddenly arrive to attack them. CHI-TSAU and SHEUNG-LUK fight against them together. CHI-SING gives the emperor an appointment letter for the crown prince and asks him to sign it with chop. SZEMA CAU and a mysterious man suddenly arrive to snatch away the imperial jade seal and return it to the emperor. They reveal that CHI-SING has brought a fake prince to the palace for he wants to take the emperor's place. WAI-YAN arrives to rescue the emperor and CHI-SING runs away. SHEUNG-LUK keeps fighting with the imperial guards and he is exhausted. YUI-HUNG asks him to leave since the venue is on fire. SHEUNG-LUK says that he is very exhausted and he wants to die.… ...
Executioner Yip Sheung-luk has shed blood too many times to count. A series of strange murders soon take place, and Sheung-luk saves a little life with his blade. But this baby boy of unknown origin gets Sheung-luk and Yui-hung in trouble with the imperial court. Step by step, the unlikely duo overcome obstacles together, developing a close relationship. Meanwhile, young couple Chek Tsz-chau and Chuk Siu-moon, both who have lived in a whore house for most of their lives, suddenly arrive at Yui-hung’s home. Siu-moon begs Sheung-luk to accept Tsz-chau as his disciple, but reckless Tsz-chau wants nothing more than to use this opportunity to escape from his punishment. Sheung-luk’s life changes forever after the appearance of mysterious magician Szema Chau. The baby boy’s identity is uncovered, putting everyone one step closer to their own deaths.
